Trains (again)

Something about the train that giving strong energy towards the boys in my house.

Little that I know, my husband spend his childhood doing trainspotting or walk on the rails after school.

Now our little man become obsessed with it.

Back in KLlife, weekend means walk around the city and maximizing the usage of public transportation.

Usually free Go KL bus as starter and finish strong with KTM (and taxi ride).

And now, in creating memories about how wonderful his childhood (mama is trying hard LOL), we opted the train trip as one of the weekend checklist activity (at least once a month).

And we are HAPPY.

No matter how busy unproductive unsatisfying our weekdays went, trains will bring back the smile.

By all means, everyone is HAPPY.

Winner!

Last weekend we took train from Manggarai to Kota. It cost 3.000 rupiah/person.

2 top options that available for this route is :

Bogor/depok – Kota

Bekasi – Kota

They are available at line 1 and 3. Or you can simply ask the officer there.

Trains are passing by every minute. I feel this is the busiest station I ever seen.

Most of the train are 10 coaches long and always FULL.

Wow, as you know that Indonesia is one of the most populated country in the world and I am proudly saying that Train is doing very well now because everyone can queue-ing and lining up properly.

Anyway, back to our train trip, the boys are spending time chatting and spotting the train at the station.

Total time riding the train : 15 minutes (one way)

Total chatting at the stations : 30 minutes.

Total time that I am spending for taking pictures : 15 minutes ++ ( and walking around checking convenient store while waiting for the boys)

Speaking about Kota (our destination), this is the old heritage area. One of the main attraction in Jakarta.

Maybe I’ll explain more about it in the next post.

See you around!

Have a great week ahead

Hey It’s me

Happy Weeekend!

Feeling nostalgic and writing.

Copy-ing the sweetest words from Handmade In Malaysia gang and take a chance to re-introduce myself.

“Hello, I am Ana.

I love to explore new things.

I started on crochet and some basic knitting when I was 14 and have been doing when time allowed it. Then, I started working as a broadcaster and continued with retail fashion for almost 10 years, in which I had forgotten about my hobbies.

Fortunately, I rediscovered them when I moved to Kuala Lumpur and quit my job. I created Anyabeya in 2012. Anyabeya is what my friends used to call me when we were young, so I decided to use it.

Anyabeya is a handmade line made from yarn or textile using crochet, knitting and sewing. I started off with neckpieces, such as necklaces and scarves, and eventually expanded to handbags and home decor.

I always try to add my signature to my work such as bows, tassels and pompoms. Anyabeya is not only handmade, it is made with love and I want to bring smiles, happiness and FUN to whoever who owns a piece of Anyabeya’s collection.

I’m obsessed with yarn, tulle, lace and cotton fabrics and they are incorporated into my work. I’m also a big fan of polka dots, stripes and PINK!

My creation is like a jar of happiness, please drop by to chat and hope you enjoy all the flavours.

Back then, I was enjoying bazaar, sell things, met people and creating.

Here’s a glimpse of anyabeya’s creation. As you can see colors and lots of colors.

Along the way, I am exploring more about yarn crafting and when my family relocated back to Indonesia, i decided to start fresh with FLAIR, the new brand that telling story about yarn crafting goods.

Exploring all the possibility and let it grow. Crochet is always be my favorite, but weaving, latch hook, embroidery and punch needle technique are the things that caught my attention.

Developing new skills, take a leap from makers to teacher as well. Yay.

Maturity take place as well and more colors added to it.

I am in happy place now with FLAIR.

Please pay visit to my instagram if you have a chance.

Do You Believe in Magic?

I always consider myself as a day dreamer and night thinker. Not so good because then I will find it hard to do morning activity

(not a morning person too but trying so hard to drag myself off the bed to pray before fall back asleep at couch LOL)

This picture from internet tells it all. L O L

Back to magic.

I always believe that everything happen for reasons and there is one who created us that DO the MAGIC.

I believe in GOD as the solely do MAGIC in our life.

The interesting part, I also acknowledge that some peoples are gifted by natural force, sensitive sixth sense beyond other people. Having chance or opportunity get to know them is interesting. I myself experiencing in unusual way.  Don’t get confuse with witchcraft or fantasy though.

But the best Magical that coming to me is friends and family.

They always manage to put on special spell on me, whenever, wherever.

From a close or casual friend that giving you the best advise or just a warm hello on your bad day. To simple hug or bump into long lost friend that suddenly giving you that glow happy feelings.

Magic is everywhere.

You just need to believe in yourself and spread it out.

Especially when you need it the most.

Trust me, it will coming back to you.

Of course, words are easy to say. But you have no other choice but to take good chance and use it.

If it fails, then let’s start again.

I am having bad day too.

I am having dispute and awful argumentation too.

I feel disappointment and guilt too.

But I know that there is a process for every tiny victory and improvement.

The process is always seems imposible until it’s done (inhale exhale)

So hang on with me while doing all the process.

Hang on there, when you are planing a bigger thing.

Encourage and motivate yourself not to give up when it fails.

Push yourself to the limit and set the higher bar (and believe it)

Most important, do your MAGIC.

So tell me now, Do you believe in MAGIC?
xoxo
