Finally! A delicious Stove Top Granola Recipe

Hello,

On my way to cleaner eating this year, I begin to dig in my old recipe of good old saviour snacks. GRANOLA.

Unfortunate there is a tiny problems, which I am still struggling to adjust the temperature of my manual oven ( I know I shouldn’t have use it as an excuses, but it does slowing down my baking journey)

And todaaayy. I was having a challenging day, from a leaking water to my bedroom, continue with the stove fuel need to refill, the balcony door suddenly decided to be broken and I got lock out. My keys aren’t working. LOL. What a day. It’s not even a mercury retrogade ❤️

After applying my trusted Lavender oil, I decided not to cook today and went outside for eating and coming home in a good mood.

Voila, in a good mood indeed and here I am making a stove top GRANOLA in the middle of the night.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oats
  • 1 cups Sunflower seeds
  • 1 cups Raw Almond (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cups Maple Syrups
  • 1/2 cups Goji Berry
  • 1/2 cups Raisins
  • 1 cup Coconut flakes
  • A dash of himalayan salt

How to do it :

  1. Heat up the pan and melt the coconut oil
  2. Pour in the oat, sunflower seeds, almonds and stir it
  3. Pour in maple syrup and continue to stir until it turns golden brown (5-10 min). The key is to keep on stirring as you don’t want them to be burnt (and keep your stove on the lowest setting)
  4. Turn off the stove
  5. Pour in Goji Berry, Raisins and Coconut flakes and stir them.
  6. Keep on the stove top until it completely cool.
  7. Store in the airtight container.
  8. You have a fresh GRANOLA. Enjoy.

My favorite is to eat them plain or using greek yogurt and fruits.

It can last 2 weeks. But mine is usually having shorter life period.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
xoxo

Kaastangels

I’ve been craving cookies since like forever. My unforgiven sin is to loved all those yummy cookies at Hari Raya, of course, the sin means nonstop munching it (hello cleaneating, i don’t know who you are…. Oops)

Since I could only find pineapple tart here, so here I am, baking Kaastangels to satisfy my crave.

I need to keep the recipe, because it’s fool proof, yeay!

Recipe Kastaangels :

2,5 cups flour + 3 tbs (check the final mixture first)

250 gram Edam cheese + 50 gram cheddar (shredded)

Pinch of salt

1 tbs vanilla powder

2 egg yolks

1 egg

250 gram butter + 3 tbs margarine

1/2 cup arrowroot powder

1 egg yolk mix with oil and water for brushing

Prepare grated cheese for topping

– heat oven to 175′ C

– using low speed mixer, mix butter and margarine until fluffy

– add the egg one by one, ensure that the egg fully incorporated before adding another one.

– mix in medium speed for 5 min.

– using low speed put half cheese and continue mixing. Turn of the mixer.

– fold the flour+arrowroot mixture in.

– the dough will look separated, it’s ok.

As soon as you start to mould it, it will incorporate well.

Brush with egg yolks mixture and put grated cheese on top.

Bake for 20-30 min until golden.

Voila! ❤️

My (wannabe) healthy breakfast

Good morning, selamat pagi, bonjour.

It’s friday and weekend is almost here.. Yippie.
To celebrate that, i spend my morning enjoying mix banana berries juice with one gluten free cupcake.

Well, what i would like to share is this cupcake is super good. No mixer needed and super easy to made.

Inspired by taste.com.au dark chocolate cupcakes.
I substitute the flour with gf and coconut flour instead of almond.
It is super good and we really love it.

Bake a cake

Since this is a super freshly made from the oven blog, i am super excited to post (hope it will last for days, weeks or months ^^).

I love to bake, like a lot. Having a casein free son is super challenging and force me to be able to bake a casein free cake.

Thank God he is not a gluten free also. But honestly, gluten free is also one of my target (read agenda). I am hoping one day i will be able to made a delicious gluten free cake or pastry or anything.

Has been tried few times, some successfully good and most of it are not even chewable (i do not know what is the right word hehehe, but i bet even a cat will not touch my not good at all gluten free cake).
